Welcome to the official website of the all new NetPLAYER, melaS Software's most popular programme bringing internet media right to your desktop.

melaS Software, is currently busy developing version 4 of this popular application, which is set to be the best yet (yes, even better than version 3). Completely re-written from the ground up, NetPLAYER 4 will provide an all new internet media experience.

What makes NetPLAYER 4 so special? Well...many things really. NetPLAYER 4 is the next-generation of NetPLAYER, not just a new version, its a totally rewritten, redeveloped, redesigned product. All previous versions of NetPLAYER (including NetPLAYER 3) were based on the code of the original NetPLAYER application, which made it's first public appearance back in the Summer of 2004. Due to NetPLAYER 4 being a product developed totally from scratch, it provides a much smoother NetPLAYER experience than what you've become accustomed to over the past 4 years.

Below is a list of our plans for NetPLAYER 4:

• New look and interface (available in the Preview Release)
• Wider channel range & Improved channel system
• The return of an auto-update system
• Automatically play channel in the appropriate quality (based on internet connection speed)
• Support for MSN Messenger's* "What I'm Listening To" feature (introduced into MSN Messenger* with version 7.0 in 2004/2005)
• Improved SleepTimer system
• Ability to view information and/or statistics about the channel being viewed.
• Parental Ratings System - give you an idea of the suitability of particular content available through NetPLAYER
• and many more
